Internet paedophiles target Katrina evacuees

Nick Farrell writes in The Inquirer:

FIVE MEN and a woman face charges after allegedly soliciting children who they believed to be Hurricane Katrina evacuees.

The arrested people believed that they were chatting on the Interweb to 13 and 15-year old girls living in emergency shelters without their parents. They were of course, speaking to Inspector Knacker.

A statement by prosecutors said that even in the worst of times criminals do not rest.
