JibJab Readies New Bush Cartoon

Jonathan Skillings writes in the C|Net Media Blog:

It's been a long, hard year for George Bush, and that's a good thing as far as the wits at JibJab are concerned.

On Thursday, the satirically minded Spiridellis brothers plan to release a two-minute Internet video in which a cut-out image of the chief of state sings a hopeful song that 2006 is a happier new year.

"From Katrina, FEMA, bird flu, insurgents, Cindy Sheehan and Scooter Libby to Tom Delay...there were so many issues facing the President, we had to make the song lightening fast to squeeze them all in," according to a draft of a press release seen by CNET News.com.
