Via ChinaTechNews.com.

Microsoft and China Unicom announced that they have jointly initiated MSN mobile value-added services in China, and moved MSN from computer desktops to the mobile phones for millions of Chinese users.

Users need only to complete a simple registration before they can use chat features of MSN on their mobile phones.

A Microsoft China representative says that MSN has already has 9.5 million white-collar users in China and the number is increasing by about 100% annually.

Earlier in September this year, Microsoft cooperated with China Mobile and opened MSN short message service for China Mobile's users.
