NCsoft to Cut Austin Workforce by 23 Percent

Video game maker NCsoft Corp. is reportedly laying off 70 of its 300-person workforce in Austin.More here.
News Web sites for the gaming industry report that the Korean company, in response to rumors that it was dealing with redundancies in its game development workforce amid lackluster game sales, issued a statement confirming the layoffs.
Executives at NCsoft's North American headquarters in Austin could not immediately be reached for comment.
