Verizon Signs Deal With DISA

Telecommunication services provider Verizon Business announced on Monday it has signed a $7.4 million agreement to extend an existing contract for one year with the US Department of Defense's Defense Information Systems Agency to provide bandwidth manager services to the agency's Defense Information System Network.
Verizon Business will provide the federal government with the bandwidth manager portion of the network under the DISN Switched/Bandwidth Management Continental United States contract. It will provide bandwidth managers to direct data communications, network security and network management to establish the foundation for one of the defense community's most reliable networks.
