Defense Tech: Booz Allen’s SBI-Net Role Draws Scrutiny

Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) today suggested that consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. may have a significant conflict of interest in its role as a contractor hired to help oversee the Homeland Security Department’s $8 billion Secure Border Initiative Network surveillance system.More here.
Waxman, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, drew attention at a hearing for the DHS’ heavy reliance on outside contractors in planning, managing, administering and overseeing the ambitious SBI-Net program.
Note: This is not the first time that BAH's credibility has been called into question.
