Electricity Restored to West Austin Homes After 4 Days

Hundreds of Austinites can finally turn their lights back on after days without power.

Austin Energy said electricity has been restored to all homes and business after four days of outages. It was the longest power outage the city has had in more than 10 years.

Neighbors in one of the hardest hit areas of West Austin were the most frustrated. The windows in Andy Allen's Tarrytown home are painted shut. So with the air conditioner out, the TV blank and the outlets dead, the fish were on their way.
